Day Five ( Thursday)

Well the last day of VBS was fantastic!! The day's theme was We Praise and the Bible story we talked about was Jesus entering Jerusalem. The verse was [We] will praise you and thank you, Lord. Psalm 35:18. In crafts we made and decorated our own rainsticks, in music we practiced the songs that we were going to preform at the closing. In science we made our own bubbles and in we finished the video series in Sky High storytelling. Overall our Rainforest Adventure was very successful and everyone had a lot of fun! Thanks to all who helped.

Day Four ( Wednesday)

The fun continued on day four. The Day's theme was We Love and we talked about Jesus the Vine. The days Bible verse was We love because God Loved us first. 1 John 4:19. Tonight in crafts we made twig-y trivets and in music we sang and did the motions to all our favorite songs. In Science we discussed magnetism and attempted a maze and in Storytelling we continued our hilarious video series. Don't forget to join us for the closing tomorrow evening and wear your shirts, tomorrow is picture day!!! I also heard that there will be ice cream after the closing tomorrow!!!!

Day Three (Tuesday)

Day Three was a whole lot of fun!!!! Our theme was We Grow, and we learned the parable of the mustard seed. The verse of the day was Grow and be happy in your faith. Philippians 1:24-25.During craft time we made Toucan Masks and in music we continued to learn new songs and motions, preparing for the Thursday closing show. In science, we planted seed in bio-degradable pots and in storytime we continued with our super silly video series. Everyone is learning a lot this week and we will continue to have a lot of fun!!

Day two (Monday)

Day Two went just as well as yesterday. Day two's theme was We Share.
We talked about the story of Elisha giving food to 100 people; and our Bible verse was: If we can give, we should be generous. Romans 12.8. Today in science we made plastic, In storytime we tried rice and watched part two of Sky High Storytelling video series and in music we learned tons of new songs and motions. During craft time, the Pre-K -K classes made a seed mosaic and the 1st-4th graders made paper-mache bowls. Tonight was a whole lot of Rainforest fun!!

Day One (Sunday)

Day One of the Rainforest Adventure was a huge success. Tons of fun was had by both kids and adults. The theme of the day was We Share. We talked about the story of Boaz sharing with Ruth. Our verse for the day was: Share every good thing you have. Galatians 6:6. The kids made reusable cloth bags during craft time, learned about the layers of the rainforest in science. They sang and learned motions in music and watched a part one of super silly video series during storytime. I hope we have as much fun tomorrow.
